Only 1.5 hours bus ride north of NYC you can go hiking on Bear Mountain. So that’s what we decided to do on a Saturday, a few weeks after Hurricane Sandy. As expected, we were a little late for the foliage peak (plus I’m sure Sandy took her part), but it was still a nice day and a good hike!
At least it’s not grey and cold like in Denmark. Williamsburg Bridge, the old Domino building in Williamsburg and Tortilleria Tres Hermanos in Bushwick.
All the Way to Paris has asked all their previous interns to create a number for each day of December until Christmas Eve.

A couple of weeks ago I went to California with my bf to visit his parents in Gridley. A small small town in Northern California. I went to rice-fields with his dad to learn everything there is to know about growing rice, beer tasting at the Sierra Nevada Brewery in Chico and evening drinks at Stan’s Trailer Park.
Over Memorial Day weekend I went to the city of Boston. An old historic city with lots to see and plenty of good food. Only 4 hours from NYC with the bus. Went to see the oldest park in the US, Boston Common, from where we went on the Freedom Trail. A trail that takes you around the city to see all the historic sites that’s connected to the American Revolution. Sunday we went to see a baseball game (Red Sox vs. The Tigers) at Fenwey Park—so much fun and a true American experience! We also went to Cambridge to see the beautiful Harvard Uni.
Went to see these lovely Swedish girls in the end of March at Webster Hall. So amazing!
At Saltie on Metropolitan Ave you get really good sandwiches. May I recommend ‘Scuttlebutt’ with hard boiled eggs, cauliflower, pickles, feta, black olives, capers, and aioli.
